Visited on a Friday morning with two toddlers and found the staff to be incredibly kind, accommodating, and professional. The coffees were fantastic, my Cappuccino with almond was fixed brilliantly…I have never before had a donut Sydney made with croissant dough and I was not disappointed.

Seriously, I work just over the street from Two chaps so I pretty much taste every new doughnut they bring out, and I know I’ve not tried all the doughnuts in Sydney, but I’m willing to bet they are the best. Sweet glossy glazes are used to decorate doughnuts in this region, which are made US-style with fluffy, light dough. There are no pre-prepared toppings at Grumpy Donuts; a great doughnut, they feel, should be more unique and require some actual work. The Buttered Toast is a popular choice here.
