Coffee brewing has long been considered a rather precise science. It takes the finest in the trade to make that unforgettable cup of coffee, from choosing the appropriate brewing temperatures down to decimal placings, and water with the proper amount of total dissolved solids.
The Alchemist is a tiny, modern alcove in the center of a bustling working crowd where meticulous perfection is sought with each new brew.

Came here for brunch and find this place nice and cozy. Not very much of a crowd and the staffs were also friendly. Flat white (balanced) tasted good too and food was filling and very nicely presented.
We ordered the breakfast with scrambled eggs and homemade caramel pancake with homemade whipped hokkaido cream.

A little detour to Dapper Coffee on level 2 of 73 Amoy Street was a minor setback, especially when contrasted with the sweaty heat in Singapore. But the pleasant atmosphere is ideal for spending an ideal afternoon over excellent coffee.

Mellower Coffee is much more than the famous cotton candy fog americano, also known as Sweet Little Rain, in which the melted sugar flows down into the cup of coffee.
With a darker roast, Arabica beans give coffee with an intense nutty flavor and a greater bitterness. To go with your brew, try a Salted Caramel Cheesecake or a Millefeuille Mango!
While their Tanjong Pagar store is one of the more inviting offices to work in, they close at 4:30 p.m., which may not be suitable for individuals seeking a workplace that will allow them to work all day. If you have an inexplicable attachment to Mellower Coffee, perhaps their Bugis outlet, which closes at 8 in the evening.
