The chefs at The Corner House are creating genuinely Italian cuisine. Although the food is authentically Italian, the ambiance is significantly more laid-back than it is at Otto Ristorante. We enjoy relaxing our Sundays with a simple dinner of classic foods like calamari fritti, linguine vongole, and white and red pizzas. Make sure to inquire about the specials; there are often interesting new dishes as well as wine discounts.

One of our favorites for easy Italian meals imported artisanal Italian goods to stock our shelves at home, and very reasonably priced wine that starts at just $12++ a glass is this charming little bodega in River Valley. Check out the specials board for seasonal specialties such as braised lamb shank with seared veggies or porcini pizza with black truffle paste.

The team also feels that by switching to only one plant-based meal a month, we may make a difference. It goes with the rest. At ‘The Kind Pho,’ you can dig into a spicy umami broth, shredded marinated “no chicken” seitan, grilled oyster mushrooms, and silky flat noodles.
