The old First United Building in Escolta, Binondo, certainly thrives and trends every few months in part due to Folk 1006. In this well-known area of Manila, it is undoubtedly one of the busiest restaurants.

Due to the barbers’ efficiency in their work and services, this barbershop effectively utilizes its small space. They can wear a variety of haircuts and have a strong understanding of grooming.

Key Differentiators

  • Known barbershop
  • Efficient services
  • Great craftsmanship

Customer Testimonial

Folk 1006 is the real deal. I’ve tried over 10 men’s barbers here and Folk 1006 is the undisputed best of the lot. Sai and Jason are friendly, easy going and communicative. One key strength of a great barber is his communication with his client and they do this wonderfully.

The haircut was not too long and turned out wonderful. I highly recommend anyone needing a good haircut to come here and you will be taken care of well. Please tip your barbers!

2. The Union Station Barbercafe

Key ServicesBarber shop
AddressJ35H+4MX, Ground Level One, Eastwood Ave, Bagumbayan, Quezon City, 1800 Metro Manila
Phone0919 655 3620
Operating HoursDaily: 12:00 – 11:00 PM

The Union Station Barbercafe is a worthwhile investment if you’re looking to unwind on a payday weekend. A treatment worth every money is provided by the barbers here, so luxurious is an understatement.

The barbershop obviously wants to always leave an impression on their customers, from their brilliantly titled “manlycures” to their traditional haircuts and shaves.

If that’s still not enough, you can take advantage of their singeing procedure, which involves gently brushing ACTUAL FIRE over the hair strands to remove it. Isn’t that manly?

Key Differentiators

  • Barber
  • Coffee shop
  • Unique services

Customer Testimonial

It looks intimidating from the outside. I assumed the haircut price would be more than 500php ($10), but I was wrong. Haircut is only 350php or 7usd. Not so bad for a nice waiting area, a café and overall a good premium service for gentlemen.

The Union Station Barbercafe is for the premium gentleman who wants the best grooming services for whatever look you like.

Well recommended!

You might have a similar reaction after Paps leaves, and quite soon another customer will be chanting their praises in you! The barbers are very skilled at styling women’s hair, which adds to the shop’s diversity.

They are very good.
