Amazing experience at LuMi despite the trek in the wet weather to get there. Every dish was amazing and worth every penny!! The steak was definitely my least favourite in terms of creativity but every other dish was SO good. If I had to choose a favourite it would have to be the Moreton Bay bug tart with trout roe and egg yolk.

Beef ribs and lamb shanks were tender and cauliflower was delicious and my absolute favourite. Oysters were fresh, chicken bits shawarma, beef skewers, and beetroot were all ok. Smoked eggplant was not what I expected, not sure if we didn’t mix the sauce properly or there wasn’t enough sauce with the dish.

Ester is an amazing Sydney establishment. Each dish we had was so delicious and unique. Our favourites were the blood sausage Sanga, where they upgraded the classic Aussie sausage sizzle so well. The sausage was packed with flavour and the bread was so soft and melt in your mouth. I also really enjoyed the steak, it was cooked and seasoned so perfectly we wish there was more on the plate!
