Cabinet 8 by JWC by day becomes a bar by night, but this one is tucked away inside a closet!
During the day, The Bear and Fish is generally known as, so it required a fresh name at night to become Cabinet 8 by JWC – it’s so hidden and secretive that you may feel as though it’s an almost-illegal place to hang out in.
There is no menu here, so you’ll have to order based on your taste and which flavor appeals most to you – some are topped with red chili and other spices, while others are served with a coffee base.
They want you to vanish into another world in here: whether it’s after work or during the weekend. It’s similar to stepping into Wonderland as you open the cabinet to enter a new dimension.
Put another way, you’re practically as if you’ve just returned from the bar or closet since you only leave when you feel refreshed and ready to face life again! A total re-makeover for all of your senses!

Haiiri Usagi bar is difficult to find, as there isn’t much signage for it. It appears to be a neglected shop lot from the outside —a part of the fun!
What’s fascinating about this is that you’ll have to push the doorbells until you locate it. Visit Haiiro Usagi (which means “grey rabbit” in Japanese) — a speakeasy-style bar with top-notch cocktails and Japanese aesthetics — and take a seat!
The bar has a small capacity of 40 people and Joe, the proprietor, comes from Switzerland, China, and Singapore with years of expertise.
There’s a lot to learn from him, and he seems to enjoy teaching his visitors the art of cocktails! You’ll also get a Tarot card reading with them as well as more than just alcoholic beverages!

Today, when most people think of a retro-themed bar, the first thing that comes to mind is a vintage Chinese design. 90 Tailor Bar does not follow in the footsteps of other bars with red Chinese interiors.

MERAH Kitchen and Bar appears to be an old provision shop that sells everyone’s favorite childhood sweets, except it’s not really a candy store; instead, it’s a top-secret cocktail bar where you may indulge in handcrafted beverages and excellent genuine cuisine.
The place also offers free walking tours of JB, as well as to local specialties and the Merah Ais Store, which sells local sweets.
Rather of a bar, you may visit during the day for more activities and continue till night to discover their most guarded secret!

It’s a lovely atmosphere. The bartender was patient and helpful with the Chinese-only menu, and made excellent cocktails. It isn’t on the menu, but all drinks costing RM38 or less are available. There is no happy hour at the Gin Bar. Everything else may be found at the adjacent bar through the wardrobe, including gin.
