Giant Board Games Singapore

Are you aware that aside from the regular Team Building activities such as Bubble Soccer or Terrarium Making, The Fun Empire also provides Giant Board Games? Well yes! Wanting to bring back classic games from our childhood, we have come up with the notion of not only designing the games to be better suited for the current generation but also larger to make the games more fascinating! You know what they say. The bigger, the better!
While Giant Board Games are perfect on its’ own for Team Building events, it is more regarded as a chill-out activity to engage in between breaks or intervals. As Giant Board Games does not require running or any other high-intense actions unlike our Adventure games, it provides an opportunity for teams to unwind and relax yet still have fun and keep the mind stimulated. As such, expect lots of cheers and laughters while surrounded by nostalgia.
Here are the 3 unique Giant Board Games for Team Building that would surely keep you on your toes!
1. Jenga

For those who are unfamiliar with Jenga, it’s an extremely simple game that’s meant for both children and adults. The instructions are straightforward enough. After the tower have been build, each participants in both teams would take turns in removing the blocks. Whoever’s the one who causes the tower to collapse would lose the game for the team they’re in. As such, the atmosphere can get competitive at times.
While the game may sound rather easy-peasy, trust me it’s not. Withdrawing the blocks from a particularly unstable tower is an incredibly nerve-wrecking experience, and since our Jenga is much larger than the ones sold in stores and commonly used by others, it may even hurt if the tower falls on you! Nonetheless, a professionally-trained facilitators would always be present during the game play to prevent any accidents from occurring.
As each participants would represent the team they’re in, everyone has the opportunity to take part and try their hands at the game, with no one feeling left out. As Jenga requires good strategic-planning, communication among teammates is essential, thus building team cohesion and bonding along the way.
2. Giant Connect 4

Giant Connect 4 is simply the giant (hence, its name) version of the classic American 4-in-a-row game. What’s great about Connect 4 is that it’s a perfect activity for any event. As it could be played both outdoors and indoors, the weather condition is not a matter of concern, thus making it a popular giant board game for informal gatherings, parties and corporate team building days.
Similar to Jenga, every participant would be grouped into 2 teams, Blue and Red, with each participant from each team alternating to drop coins into the board. The gameplay works somewhat like tic-tac-toe in that you are required to anticipate the actions of your opponents through strategic-planning and observational skills. The team that first manages to score 4 of the coloured coins in a row either horizontally, vertically or diagonally, wins the game!
3. Life-Sized Snake & Ladder

I am of the opinion that most people would have experienced Snake & Ladder at least once in their life, so I would not elucidate on the ways of playing the game. It’s incredibly straightforward and easy to comprehend, and would no doubt incite laughter among children and adults alike.
We gave a little twist to our Snake & Ladder game, such as creating interesting and hilarious challenges such as standing on one leg and getting ‘bee-stung’ during the game play. All you have to do is throw the dice, and move forward the number of spaces stated on the dice. Our facilitators would handle the rest. As such, participants are able to interact and mingle with each other in a relaxed and casual setting, ensuring the forming of closer and more trusted relationships.
