Bedok Food Singapore
Bedok is a food paradise for residents and visitors alike. The outdoor living here is superb with the beach, cycle paths, running tracks, and fishing spots all within easy reach.
For coffee lovers, there are many cafes to choose from. For those who enjoy a good meal, the restaurants offer a wide variety of cuisines to suit all taste buds. And for those who want to relax with a drink, there are plenty of bars to choose from. Bedok is also home to a number of hawker stalls, which offer a cheap and delicious way to sample the local cuisine.
So whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Bedok has something to offer everyone.
Key Considerations Factors
- Variety: Look for a restaurant that serves a variety of different dishes from different cuisines to suit everyone’s tastes. The best Bedok restaurants specialize in dishes from both traditional Singaporean and international cuisines.
- Authenticity: Make sure that the restaurant you choose is authentic, serving up classic Singaporean dishes like Hainanese chicken rice or Indonesian-inspired dishes like Nasi Lemak. Avoid those who serve generic “Asian” food with no distinct flavor.
- Ambience: Choose a restaurant with a nice atmosphere and comfortable chairs if you want to have a good time eating there. Be sure to visit the restaurant before committing to it and make sure it is free from distractions such as loud music or TVs playing movies.
- Service: If you want to have a good time at a restaurant from start to finish, look for one with friendly and attentive service. Pay special attention to how quickly the staff responds to customer inquiries and requests, as well as their level of expertise about the food being served.
- Price Range: Before making a final decision, compare prices at different restaurants to make sure you’re getting good value for your money without giving up quality. Think about things like taxes and delivery fees when figuring out how much your meal will cost in total.

Been coming here for more than 8 years and happy to see how the menu and outlets have grown. Their triple brioche is my staple order on a regular day when a filling meal is required. Even if ordered as a delivery, the portions and flavours were still great. If you have a sweet tooth, try their desserts, their crusty waffle fails to disappoint, visually stunning as well!

Tried their pork, chicken, and mutton satay. The chicken and pork are nice and tender with the pork being my favorite. Mutton is nice too but it’s just tougher than the rest. It doesn’t have much sweet taste which I like and not too oily. Peanut sauce is great! Minimum order is 10 sticks with 70c/stick which I think is decently priced. Waiting time is not too long (probably around 15mins) on a weekday evening.

Key Differentiators
- · Noodle House
- Famous hawker stall

Customer Testimonial
This is my first time eating from this stall and my immediate reaction after sinking in for the first bite is: wow! Why didn’t I have this earlier. I like Wanton noodle (and I am sure many do). Though I will venture to try new ones, but I always play conservative and stick to the tried and tested ones. But really glad I did for this one and it will be my go-to stall henceforth. The wanton, whether boiled or fried are really good. I like the springy noodle that reminds me of ramen noodle cooked perfectly. The chicken feet is flavourful and soft with lots of collagen.
Most importantly, the food here is not that salty and has all the flavour. There is an old article pasted on the stall that the stall owner had been doing this for years and they are seeing more and more repeat customers. After all, they have been doing this and perfecting the trade since 1970 (just a year younger than me )

This is a delicacy that isn’t that commonly found in Singapore. Imagine my delight upon discovering this stall situated just a stone throw’s away from my mom’s place.
At a selling price of 3 for $10 (or $3.50 per price), it’s really good value as each oyster cake was stuffed full of ingredients and porky goodness. The chilli sauce that came with each oyster had a sweet aftertaste and complemented the oyster cake well.
