A “high class” food court that deserves more attention. There’s Western, Chinese and Indonesian cuisines here, all managed by restaurant quality chains. Pricing is surprisingly competitively mostly. Serving sizes are mostly generous. Char Siew noodles were really savoury despite it’s color, and the fried rice had a rich and flavorful taste. We had a sumptuous meal here!

Visited on a really hot day whilst in the Botanical Gardens. Initially looking for somewhere to get a beverage we saw a dine in restaurant, this wasn’t really appropriate for our needs at the time.

Luckily we literally looked around and came across this small establishment, which was almost opposite the entrance for the orchid garden entrance.

Basic hot and cold drinks and snacks and not over priced. It was staffed by a very friendly lady who made the latte fresh for my wife. It was only $5 which we thought was fairly priced.

Good point is there are plenty of benches near and so if you don’t require a dine in experience but require a hot/cold beverage and/or snack or ice cream, it’s worth a visit.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Dishes follow a perfectly mastered progression/storyline, everything is delicate, precise and detailed. Mix of tastes develop in your mouth and gives this fine dining satisfaction level! Service was excellent and the chef came to have a quick chat. A really brilliant chef.
The place is great too though the carpentry would require a bit more care.
Overall an awesome time and we’ll be sure to come back!

Customer Testimonial

The Halia, is one of my favourite places for anytime dining. For one, the green and freshness of the place is enough for one to feel relax. With all the lush greenery, many op for the alfresco dining as it’s cool all the time. Breakfast menu is different from the dinner menu. It’s best to make reservations as it’s a popular walk-in joint. When I do my morning or evening walk at the gardens, a hot CGC (cumin, cinnamon and ginger) is a must have drink. One of my favourite dish is the pouch halibut with rice.
